Hello Heathens,

This is a fairly short post for the week, but in my list of top albums of 2023 I missed an album. I should have placed Seven Crowns and Seven Seals by Sulphur Aeon in my top 10 or so albums of last year as the album had a score of 90% based on my calculations. I missed including the album because I never put it in my “2023 Albums List” so when I ran my comparison between albums in that list, and tracks in my liked playlist I got 0 tracks for it. Easy oversight to make, and a silly mistake to make. Right now I listen to music on 3 different streaming platforms (Spotify is the only one that I pay for) which makes keeping track of things a little complicated. Plexamp currently has no good solution for interacting with it’s API to get song ratings from your music library, Spotify removed API access to the “liked” playlist and in general is a company I want to move away from using, and Foobar2000 is only used for listening music at home where I do most of my lossless listening.

I should switch to Plexamp only as it is music that I own. Hopefully later on this year I’ll figure out a good method to get all my playlists off spotify, backed up somewhere, and fully transition to listening to music on Plexamp or some other service where I am only listening to music I own.

Outside of that, I didn’t backup 01.20.24’s playlist so there will be no playlist for you to listen to from last week. My bad.
