New Features, redisigns and tapes

Hello Heathens,

Now that work will be slowing down a bit I can start to focus on some of the updates for the website that I have planned. Right now the site loads pretty slowly so first step is going to be taking all the old posts down for a bit while I work on a redesign. If there are old playlists you want, reach out to me on twitter to get copies of them. Outside of that not much to report on. I will be able to have high quality audio recordings of the show that I may look into hosting as an on-demand service for those interested in listening to older episodes, but I think that the rights of who “owns” the music makes that fuckey.

Something I’m the most excited about with all the new features at work is that I will be able to record audio on tapes so I can make my own metal mixtapes to distribute to friends or just have as backups of the show. Already recorded a test tape and it turned out fantastic. No flutter and wow, but that might mostly be a feature of the past with tapes or something that happens much later into a tapes life than it does on new cassettes and decks. Today’s show is going to be stuff from the 80’s and 90’s as I try to craft the ultimate mixtape for my car cassette deck. Below is a copy of last week’s playlist. I would hate to spoil the surprise that I have in store for you today by posting the show playlist early.
