Hello Heathens, Writing this up this year was kind of a mess since I didn’t come up with a way to rank albums for my own use until August. I had to go back and re-listen to a lot of albums and see if I could find albums from earlier in the year that I still enjoyed. This led to me realizing that the Soen album was much better than people gave it credit for at release, and that I really should take a few minutes to write a brief review of albums more often.

Hello Heathens, I had a lot of fun going through old releases from 2021 to try to find my top 21 albums of the year. I will admit that not having any sort of scoring system in place and just going off memory made this take a lot more time than I thought it should so moving forward I am going to try to log some sort of score for albums.

Hello Heathens, It’s been a minute since I’ve updated the website. Here are some playlists and I am going to start playing music off the top albums of the year while I try to sort out what my top 10 or top 20 albums of 2021 are. I think that overall this has been a fantastic year for music so I’m excited to re-visit albums I haven’t heard in months to see how they stack up against newer releases.

Hello Heathens, Lots of new music to highlight this week and I’m going to really focus on writing for the show. I’ve had a lot of creative ideas for good radio shows, but struggle to find people actually interested in doing good content. A lot of people have an idea of wanting to do something cool, but when it comes time to do the unfun parts of it people balk. Hopefully those of you that caught the show live today enjoy the skit.

Hello Heathens, I spent more time trying to figure out what I wanted to say about these people than I should have. Hopefully the below is mostly coherent and I get my point across about the dangers of coping online in faux political/cultural movements. Has anyone checked in on the Trads recently? I’m not sure what exactly has been going on with people from the Trad community recently. I’ve seen enough unhinged posts from them, and had enough conversations with friends about the recent Trad revival to wonder what the hell is going on with these people?

Hello Heathens, This is a bit of a rant of a half formed idea that I’ve been trying to figure out. There is no excuse more common than “I’m busy.” No matter what stage of Covid lockdown we were in, people found a way to work this excuse in. Now that things have opened up (for now) more I hear a lot of people complaining that they aren’t getting to spend time with their friends and family.
