Hello Heathens,
Alright since the website modernization is pretty much done (I need to add a link to the show’s new home). I now feel ready to talk about the past, present and future of the show. I think I’ve done a good job of keeping the fact I worked at KSUA separate from THH. I’ve graduated from UAF so I can no longer work at KSUA. I turned over management to new staff and I’m excited to see where they take the station.
Hello Heathens,
I’ve updated the theme so it fits more of the aesthetic of the website that I want, but I still have to move over old posts. Outside of slowly plugging away at updating this website I have a real job now. This means that I will be taking a year long break from doing the show on KSUA and moving to be on Overkill exclusively. For those that don’t know I’ve been working at KSUA since 2018 so I am taking a break from doing the show on KSUA so I am not some old ghost haunting the place now that I’m no longer a staffer.
Hello Heathens,
Welcome to the new look for the website. Hopefully now that I have the site built with a proper static site generating language it will be faster for me to get content out. I am not 100% sure how I feel about this theme, but I think that I can tweak some things so that they are more inline with my overall vision of the website. As such this post is more to get playlists out that I haven’t published and to test posting images so I can get a better feel for how they render and how I should structure the folders to get them to render easily.
Intro
It’s really hard to overstate the impact that this band had on the metal world. Since their formation in the early 80’s the band has been a leader in the sound of our genre of music. I was training a new volunteer at the station and they asked me what the best Metallica album is. I haven’t went out of my way to listen to Metallica in years, so I really wasn’t read to answer this off the top of my head.
Hello Heathens,
Well this is my first week doing 2 shows in a week. I want to give a big thanks to all the fans on KSUA and Overkill Radio. I’ll get this playlist updated with the missing tracks after the weekend is over.

Hello Heathens,
Here are the last few playlists that I haven’t posted. Big blog post about the future of the show coming next week. This week I had a request for a song that isn’t on Spotify so here is a direct link to the artist and their bandcamp. Consider purchasing the song, but it will be on streaming services soon.

Hello Heathens,
Recently I’ve been playing Elden Ring, and I think I’ve hit a point where I am going to take a break from the game because I’ve done all the things. The game was released in March to a flurry of perfect or near-perfect scores. After ~100 hours, 38/42 achievements I think I’m ready to talk about the game. Overall the game is one of the best games I’ve ever played.
Hello Heathens,
Halfway done with the semester. Here are a few playlists that I have yet to upload for you folks.

Hello Heathens,
I’m not really sure how this came across my desk, but I think that this is an important enough and short enough speech that everyone should take a few minutes of their day to read it and think about what Faulker is saying in his Nobel Prize acceptance speech.
Outside of that I’ve been grinding through the 2022 release that have started to stack up on my desk, and wrapping up hidden 2021 gems that I found checking out the MetalStorm Awards 2021 edition.
